Sperm Insemination
Effective assisted reproduction method to increase the chances of natural pregnancy.
This is a very simple and painless procedure during which sperm, after being processed and activated in the laboratory, is placed into the uterine cavity through the cervix using a special catheter.
It is similar to the Pap test, lasts only a few minutes, and does not require anesthesia for the woman. It can be safely performed in a medical office or near the lab environment.
An additional advantage of the method is that, after a short time, the woman can return to her normal daily activities.
A basic prerequisite for this method is the patency of the fallopian tubes — at least one of them. The pregnancy success rate after insemination during a natural cycle is around 10–17%, and this percentage increases when combined with ovulation induction.
