THEANO ASKOKSYLAKI

Dermatologist – Venereologist

Theano Askoxylaki was born and raised in Athens.

She completed part of her medical studies at the Medical School of the University of Rome (Università di Tor Vergata) and graduated from the Medical School of the University of Patras.

She began her work at the General Panarcadiko Hospital of Tripoli as a Rural Doctor and later at the General Hospital of Kalavryta as a Pathology resident. She then worked as a Dermatology–Venereology resident at the General Hospital of Western Attica “Agia Varvara” as well as at the Athens Dermatology and Venereology Hospital “Andreas Syngros,” where she obtained her specialization in Dermatology–Venereology.

At the same time, she earned three postgraduate degrees, two from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and one from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

Her postgraduate degrees are as follows: first, “Neoplastic Disease in Humans” with a thesis titled “Clinical Differential Diagnosis of Melanoma”; second, “Pathology of Pregnancy” with a thesis titled “Dermatological Diseases in Pregnancy”; and finally, the postgraduate program in “Dermatoscopy” with a thesis titled “Basal Cell Carcinoma – Dermatoscopic Criteria by Subtype.”

After completing her specialization, the doctor trained in the field of Pediatric Dermatology at Maggiore Policlinico Hospital in Milan.

She holds certifications in aesthetic medicine following participation in both global and European conferences and workshops over the past decade.

Since 2020, she has operated a private dermatology clinic, where she applies her extensive clinical experience to provide modern treatments in both clinical and aesthetic dermatology using advanced state-of-the-art equipment.

The clinic also offers a wide range of treatments for patients of all ages, delivered with respect and dedication.
